Old wooden homes
There are still a lot of these left in the old city. Some are in OK condition. Some have been redone (and are now, say $100/night hotels). But many are in disrepair.

What interesting structures! Where exactly is this street?
If I remember correctly, that picture was taken from just outside my hotel, the Hotel Almina. Kϋçϋk Ayasofya Cad. and Akbıyık Değirmeni Sok., in the Sultanahmet neighborhood of İstanbul. It’s just around the corner from the obelisk . Going left and down as you’re facing away from the park. But truth be told there are lots of shots like this, but maybe not with three of the buildings together.
